The Last Guardian redefines for me what videogames can sometimes (but don't very often) aspire to. Yes, the controls are janky, the camera often seems to have a mind of its own; it's not perfect - but no game ever is, right?
It's beautiful - this is what we mean by 'games as art'. In every way, too: character design, story, environment, music (fantastic orchestral score), ambience...I love it.
