They really managed to up themselves by making the last Rextro mini-game the worst one yet, didn't they? :| They don't know when to quit with this gooseberry fool. The world 4 one was bad enough but this one just keeps going on and on and on. strawberry floating awful. Why are these stupid mini-games in the game? Not one of them has been remotely enjoyable.

Apart from that; I've really enjoyed the final world. It looks amazing for a start, love the graphical style.

Aaaand done.

Image

Well, apart from you-know-fucking-what. :fp: I really hope they can fix that glitch with a patch. 29 hours on the clock. btw.

Gonna leave the final boss until tomorrow.

Overall I really liked it. A worthy successor to the Banjo games. However, for every 5 things Playtonic did right, they did 1 thing spectacularly strawberry floating wrong. gooseberry fool like the Rextro games and Kartos courses are no fun to play and the camera is one of the worst I've experienced in a game since maybe Super Mario Sunshine. But all that doesn't detract from how much fun it is to play and jump around in the world. I'm really glad this game exists and I hope Playtonic go on to make a spiritual successor to Diddy Kong Racing like the current rumour suggests.

The one you've got missing is from the casino world? That's the only bug I am aware of.

Holy gooseberry fool @ the list of backers in the end credits. Apparently it's 3 hours long. Thankfully it's skippable. I fast-forwarded through it and only got to the B's after 5 minutes before quitting.

Last phase of the final boss was a bit of a banana split. I'd like to see someone do that without losing health.

I'm still pissed about that glitched Pagie. I'd have the Platinum trophy if I wasn't missing it. :fp:

100%ed the game and got a lot of value out of the £10 I paid. I'm very happy with how the game turned out and would buy a sequel. Hopefully if they do make a sequel they completely ditch the awful Kartos and Rextro games which were anti-fun.

I'd be definitely up for this. I actually had the same thought when it panned through all the characters at the end.

Missing 3 quills in Capital Cashino and have no idea where they are :x got the hunter tonic equipped and have scoured the world twice over to no avail. Anyone have the same problem? Pretty sure I've had at least one pagie glitch out on me here too, which sucks. Seems I'm not the only one and all. Hope they patch it at some point.

In one of the areas where you have to do that charge move, there are some quills on the floor. IIRC.

Under the ramp that rises up when you have to smash through the glass, there's one sneaky banana split of a quill there. There are also a couple hidden up high in the section that you have to open with the sonar explosion thingy.

I remember there was a glitch in the XBLA version of Banjo Kazooie that made it impossible to get all the notes if you had done the bonus puzzles early in the game. They patched it out but if you had run into it, you were stuck with having the missing notes. It was the only thing that prevented me from getting 100%. :(

Thanks guys. I think it was the place you mentioned, Mori. Power Grid, in the second room where there's the electric barrier blocking the opening to the next room.

Dug a little deeper into the missing Pagies (2 of them!) and it looks like it might be a problem with handing in loads of tokens at once, which I did on a couple of occasions: both around 50/60 each time. It can sometimes not count a Pagie when doing that as it's autosaving so frequently. Really bloody irritating.

Also has anyone stumbled across any of the hidden skulls? Didn't have a clue there were any in the game until I happened to spot one whilst searching for those quills in Capital Cashino. There's one in each world by the looks of it.

I found the one in the first world by complete accident.

Where's the World Two Boss?

I couldn't find a way in as I've done the ring race inside the Icymetric Palace. Am I having a glitch? :?

If you've done the ring race I think you have, you should have unlocked a gate with grenade flowers. Use those to break a nearby cracked wall.

Hmm...

I swore I did enter the boss before, but my PS4 was frozen so I reset it and now the ring race button is closed and I can't get in the cracked wall. :|

Edit:

I've managed to beat the boss and all I realised I can damage the chest to get the bombs. :fp:

Hello and welcome to the first ever post-game-release Playtonic community update!

Yooka-Laylee has been in the wild for two whole weeks and we’ve been positively overchuffed by the response from fans and backers around the world! We’ve very much enjoyed reading your feedback, lurking on your livestreams and absorbing your lovely comments, so thanks again for the support! It’s been emotional.
Yes we cam

Thanks to you lot, some 20 developers remain off the streets, mostly fed and in a stronger position than ever to continue creating colourful, personality-plump adventures!

But first… we’ve got some spit ‘n’ polish to deploy.

In the days since launch – and as we work with speed towards the Nintendo Switch – the dev team has been frogmarched back down into the development mines to uncover our next big game update, which will add significant improvements and introduce some of the most requested features.

That means stuff like the optional ability to skip dialogue faster, bypass cutscenes or reduce those pesky gibberish voices, which should please the speedrunners among us. We’ll also be adding a sprinkling of design polish throughout the adventure and by popular request, changes to how the camera operates (gif the image on this page a look).

You can expect a more detailed breakdown of the game update in the coming weeks, as we continue to tinker around with the coding furnace. Until then, here’s a bit more of what we’ve been up to…

Nice one.

No mention of bug fixes, though. :|
