But Jawa just think of the title screen and opening 3 mins you'll be missing out on!

That’s the “old” version of me, man - nowdays I’m sensible and only buy games that I’m gonna play for at least six minutes 8-) .

If £35 is a bit too much for people it looks like you can get it for about £28 if you switch to the Mexican eShop - still more than you'll pay for other systems but a decent saving.

Thanks, Jenuall, although I’m not really one for multiple accounts... I am a bit cautious about that and stick to my single logon. I’ll wait for a price drop :) .

You don't need to worry about multiple accounts - just log on to you Nintendo Account online and switch your region in your profile settings. Next time you log in to the eShop it will show you the prices from that region.

Once you've bought something you can switch back to your "home" region.

I've only used this approach to buy one game so far but it was a pretty painless experience. :)

Thanks for the info, dude. I’m oddly unsure about doing stuff like that - no real reason why! Hmmn... will have a think :) .

It's fine Jawa, no problems when I did it with a game on the Switch. Payday tomorrow so might be paying a visit to the Me'hico store..

If anyone's been holding out for a physical version, Limited Run are putting one out with preorders starting on Friday.

That physical switch version could end up being worth a bit.

I still need to finish this. I'm stuck on the stupid Kart thing on the casino world :x I think the boss is stuck behind that which is the last one that I need to do.

I'm kind of tempted to get myself one of the physical copies ordered, due to other stuff I've not played as much of the game as I like (I was a Wii U backer to start with, moved to Switch when the Wii U version got cancelled) but what I did play was quite good, I'll probably restart it when I've got Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Octopath Traveller finished as I have no idea where I will need to go next (still a very long way to go on Octopath mind!). Would be a nice addition to my collection, even in I just leave it in the packaging.

A bit of a bump for this one.

I was always interested in Y-K due to my formative gaming years being with the N64, and I particularly enjoyed Rare's late 90s output on that console.

I always fancied it on the Switch due to portability and, well, a Nintendo console felt like the right home for it. £35 was way too much, given that it had been on sale on the PS4 too, but the current sale price of £15 was acceptable enough that I bought it.

Just in the first world right now and so far the nostalgia definitely carries it. My main complaints at the moment are the camera and the rolling being a bit of a pain to control. It also looks a little plain at times, not helped by the fact that it seems a little bright and washed out?

It seems more Tooie than Kazooie at the moment, but I liked the sequel a lot so the collectables shouldn't bother me.

Wonder if it will run out of steam like Nuts and Bolts. That had a great opening level which was clearly worked on from the start and had plenty of work hours poured in to it. It then faded quite badly towards the end, and I never finished it.

I did actually get around to playing this later in 2018 and overall it was pretty decent (if you know what to expect), some of the worlds I really enjoyed (Moodymaze Marsh) and some I despised (Capital Cushino), I actually would have preferred more worlds but without the expanding option rather than the 5 we ended up with. Thought the music was really nice, the graphics were nice enough but the camera and floaty feel did let it down a little at times.

I used some Nintendo coins and got this for £13 today. Looking forward to testing this out tonight. I've been playing a lot of the Lego games with my kid and have kind of become addicted to collectathons!

Got this sub £10 on the switch and started it today. It's a bit annoying to control, and I'm finding I overshoot jumps a lot, but I love a good 3D world to explore and I especially love collecting things.

It really is a banjo kazooie game in all but name.

My word this is a ball ache to play. I'm on the last world now but I think most of my time has been spent battling the sloppy controls.

Getting a physical version for the Switch - that's a ballache.
