I like the show but no way is the best. The list is just all kinds of wrong.

That list is so offensive I don't even know where to start with it.

This pretty much, though the more amusing parts tend to be the cock ups as opposed to any actual comedy...

I can never believe Mrs Brown's Boys is made by the BBC.

It's so ITV it hurts.

As if we needed anymore proof that the overall intelligence of the UK is slowly dropping, here it is.

People would rather watch characters running around screaming like a bunch of idiots than something genuinely funny and witty.

Putting The Office above The IT Crowd and Black Books is the real crime here :fp:

I would like to apologise on behalf of all Irish people for inflicting this gooseberry fool upon the rest of the world.

It's this generation's On The Buses. People have fond memories of the 3 films, but often forget just how bloody terrible the ITV sitcom was.

agreed, in my opinion The Office has no place on the list.

Mrs Brown's Boys reminds me of that sitcom that Ricky Gervais character creates in Extras.

Top of my list is Dad's Army. Greatest sitcom of all time.

I thought you were cool.

I don't really get how the same set of people managed to put The Thick of It so high, though. It's in my personal top five. Also, the Peep Show (my number 1) at 11 and Inbetweeners at 14? Strong BBC bias, I'd say.

It was a list of the "best" sitcoms of the 21st Century.

Mr thick of it swears that's funny
Mrs brown is a man in a dress who swears and they speak with a ridiculous fantasy accent, that's triple funny

Many like it, personally I really really dislike it, it doesn't help that gervais just plain pisses me off. Derek I didn't mind os much but normally he just grates. The US Office I really enjoy though.

Looking at that list and the sheer gulf in quality between BBC and channel 4 sitcoms is huge.
