How do you define the start of a world war? There's plenty of wars going on at the moment which will probably still be going on in 2010. And how are the Muslims going to amass the resources to take on the west in the next 2 years unless China joins in with them? (why would China join the Muslim's holy war against the West?)

Well the West helped the Muslims when they were attacked by Russia. If China independently started a War with the west they may be able to gain some kind of loose coliltion with the Muslims to draw Western resources out across a larger area. I don't think it'll happen though.

Quite a good read, I especially liked the part where she predicted that people for some reason will "create a second sun" to light up the dark part of the Earth, yet she doesn't mention that doing so would destroy the Earth because it would alter it's orbit.

Not to mention ruin the sleeping patterns of every living creature on the planet, and destroying countless nocturnal ecosystems.

It'd be just like the plot in Die Another Day.

Wasn't that also the plot from 2001 a Space Odessy? Well at any rate I remember it ended with the creation of a second star in our solar system, yet somehow the planet wasn't torn in half, and it was portrayed as a good thing.

No, the human race evolved into a new species that was more comfortable in space.
