Only so long as your CPU was the exact same clock speed as the Xbox 360 CPU. It still had that awful speedup bug. The Gentleman of the Row mod fixes most of the problems, but the PS3 version still handled better.

The PC port of Saints Row 2 is a notorious and unmitigated piece of gooseberry fool, that kind of real, solid ineptitude cannot come about by chance. Whoever made the Gentlemen of the Row mod moved heaven and earth to fix it, but it was still janky as strawberry float, which is a shame as it sets up the much better SR3 and the light-years ahead SR4, which mines the series' history to great effect.

Believe it or not, CD Projeckt (As in the makers of The Witcher series) were the ones who did the Saints Row 2 PC Port.

Well this is very interesting to me, I was intending to get a PS4 at some points so I could play some exclusives. I look forward to seeing some tests by someone like digital foundry.

I would get that dongle if more PC games supported directinput DS4 natively as well as XInput.

Tho, is the bluetooth Xbox One pad available to buy yet?

Hmm, tempted by a trial but the compatible controllers page won't load for me I and I would rather not buy a PS4 controller if the service turns out to be gooseberry fool, I don't need a spare one badly enough to risk the cost.

Yeah I can't get the compatible controllers page working.
I might give the trial a go this weekend and see if it works with a wired 360 controller.
