Actually thinking about it Gradius V is a lot like a Euro shooter too.

Starquake, this isn't really like Gradius, but more of an update to the Euro shumps from the 90's.

Make sure you find the hidden keys in the levels so that you can open the last three stages.

Ah, I found one of those and wondered what it meant :D

Just bought the collection for PS3 and it is cross buy (quick Google confirmed it before hitting the buy button)

A few decent prices in the easter sale.

Might pick up a few, can anyone recommend or not Lumines, Silent Hill, WRC 4, Oddworld strangers wrath, unit 13 and Dungeon hunter.

Thanks in advance.

Stranger's Wrath is great fun. I gave up on one of the later bosses  but it's a quality game and played very well on the handheld. (I've yet to play any of the previous console/PC? versions.)

I loved Unit 13, was brilliant in co-op.

Yes. It's pretty scruffy and can be annoying (hello spawning enemies) but it's got its own charm. Each mission is stand alone and can be just dipped in to whenever, so you can replay to get higher rankings etc.

There is, aye. No idea why I avoided it considering the other free crap I've downloaded.

It was also free on plus years ago if you added everything as you should.

I've dismissed a few, might go with strangers wrath, lumines and sound shapes.

This sound shapes any good and will I need any of the dlc?

Highly recommend Virtue's Last Reward. Doubly so if you've played 999.

Picked up Sound Shapes and Jet Set Radio in the Easter Sale

JSR is one of my only dreamcast games I got a few years back with the console, but I never played much of it. Now is my chance to rectify that.
