Only just seen this but yep it is. Whilst i was on my Hols last year i took my Vita with me in case i wanted a little gaming done. Better monster designs, no time constraints, better balance of RPG battling to story progression, no overly long dungeon slogs 8^)

EDIT: Load times are absolutely fine, I have no issues whatsoever.

Just got to chapter 11 in Digimon and damn everything just stepped up a gear. Had to grind a little to beat the chapter 10 boss as I needed to change up my team - I am very much enjoying the genuine challenge this game offers.

Tearaway - A fantastically inventive platformer - above all others this is the game that was made for Vita. It uses all of the hardware's features perfectly.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss - A very good third person shooter - I'd rank it better than the first Uncharted game.
Killzone: Mercenary - One of the best looking games on Vita, it's a technical masterpiece. Gameplay-wise it's a pretty generic FPS but perfectly solid at what it does. Nice that it allows for stealth too.
Soul Sacrifice Delta - It's a monster hunter-like, if that helps. Best in multiplayer but perfectly playable on your own too. The lore of the world in the game is fantastic, especially if you're into dark fantasy.
Freedom Wars - Another monster hunter-like but with more emphasis on third person shooter elements. It's very JRPG like in theme and story (moreso than Gravity Rush).
Toukiden Kiwami - The third of the monster hunter-like Vita games, and the most like monster hunter. If you like Japanese history/mythology then this will float your boat thematically.
Wipeout 2048 - The best racer on the system (discounting CTR).
MotorStorm RC - Another very fun racer that is quite unique nowadays for the micromachine's style gameplay.

Those are all exclusives (although Gravity Rush and Tearaway are now on PS4 in a form) - cross-play and shared releases offer plenty more!

And Everybody's Golf. No Vita is complete without this incredible game and it's generally dirt cheap on PSN. And go digital with it, it's the perfect game to dip into every day.

Flame Over is a grower. Didn't like it at first but, much like Rogue Legacy, once you understand the concept and dynamic nature of the map and the fact you lose any unspent money each time you start a new game, it clicks. I'm still crap at it but have managed to get to Office level 3. Keep running out of time so I need to learn how to get better.

Best tip I can give is cut the power asap

Give it a go. I believe the PS4 version stacks re trophies too although not tried ps4 version yet

After a bit of a hiatus, I'm currently using my Vita as my main platform - it really is a lovely bit of kit. So far this year I've completed Lego Marvel Universe in Peril and Hobbit (my first ever platinum, don't judge me) and bought and completed Guacamalee and Bastion. Playing a lot of Rogue Legacy which is a great little time waster and managed to actually get into P4G as well - couldn't manage it the first time round, the first two and a half hours are basically all story. 4 and a half hours in this time and enjoying it much more now things are picking up a little.

X-COM is up on the store for £15.99.

That's a stealth release and a half. Sorely tempted but I might wait for a review or two just to make sure it doesn't play like a dog.

It performed badly enough on PS3, I don't want to imagine how it's like on PSVita. :dread:
