Just saw this on RPS, looks very interesting:

Multiplayer post-apocalyptic shooter with vehicles, on Steam, and seemingly nuanced/detailed vehicle controls:

Available to pre-purchase for $24.99 (£15) for early beta access (although that hasn't started yet) and other gubbins.

Will definitely keep an eye on this :D

EDIT: Apparently will have 64 players, dedicated servers, VAC, RCON.....I think this may replace BF3 for me.

Wow, Falsey in immediately-disliking-something shocker. ;)

Looks a lot like Rage. The whole thing about detailed vehicle controls is pretty neat, but the rest of the game doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.

Well the features list is fairly impressive - combat on the scale of BF3 but on steam with all the features that we're used to in terms of server control. It certainly looks good, much better than strawberry floating Gotham Imposters

Projected feature lists and dev hype do not a good game make, dearest Trelloo.

Hmm, like the sound of that trike. Sounds like a lawnmower/chainsaw. Not so keen on the fact that it seems to be difficult to wipe-out on.

Being able to get knocked off on a bad landing could lead to several hilarious multiplayer moments.

If the shape of the gameplay is anything like Halo 1's vehicular shenannagins, this could potentially be a lot of fun.

Well no, but as with Hawken, it's something to keep an eye on that's an alternative to gritty modern man-shooting. I'm probably not going to pre-purchase it or anything, but if it turns out good then I'm all for it.
