I think both the PS4 and the X1 look better in white. Not a big fan of the half-gloss half-matte look in black. Suits the controllers better too, the mix of white with black bits.

Matte black shows dust, glossy black shows prints, you just can't win with black.

I also think the white version just looks classier, I even like the way the buttons stand out on the white controller which reminds me of the PS1. The white light cover is also hidden when turned off too.

Hmm, I've seen SNES and Dreamcast turn yellow, my white 360's colour never deteriated though.

Anyway, I'm hoping they release the stand-alone white version next month as I plan to pick one up with Alien Isolation.

the white looks nice but I agree with the others it tends to fade and also I find the controllers get dirty quickly
