Seriously easy accessing the HDD at the back of the Pro.

Arghhhhh myate i'sh did it with my old PS4 and External Drive on my Bone lid cause it was the original 500GB HDD I was using in the caddy lad connected to the Bone. So Pro, OG PS4 and Xbones External drive slightly longer than 30 mins but easy. Only problem was the wrong FW I had on the pendrive trying to install it on both PS4's
So the only thing to worry about which isn't a worry really just an inconvenience is making sure you have the correct update downloaded to a pendrive otherwise it won't install from fresh.

KingK wrote:Yeah no need to format the hdd. The important bit is to make sure you have the full install file ( c.900mb) and not the upgrade file (<300mb) as I found out earlier this week when installing a new 2Tb hdd in my PS4Pro. Took me ages to figure out what I'd done!
