Anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't yet, KingK... but I'm down to about 110 Gb on my PS4 so I guess I'll find out soon!

+ The Pro is a lot faster at downloading; for my wifi setup, the 5 Ghz adapter makes a big difference
+ The front end works - perhaps - *slightly* faster
+ Digital Foundry tells me that the The Last Guardian runs smoother on the Pro than on the standard PS4

Other than that, I think some stuff like shadows may be improved but, to be honest, it's not something that I have found to be hugely noticeable. Of course, I play in 1080p mode so folk with 4K televisions will see greater advantages.

I am hoping that we see games coming out this year which make more use of the additional power for 1080p displays.

Pro user with a 1080p to here too. From what OG PS4 users said when playing TLG was that the framerate would drop to something ridiculous like 10-15 fps which is something it never done during my time playing it on the Pro. The Last Of Us looks great on the Pro as does Titanfall 2 which totally trumps the Xbone version due to not really needing to scale to maintain the 60fps gameplay and has better lighting. Making Share Play videos is so fast on the Pro, like twice as fast. Not bothered with Rise of the Tomb Raider due to owning it on Xbone.

Overall happy with my slight performance boost with the Pro and I'm in no rush for 4K yet so I'll happily take the Pro enhancements for 1080p owners which should happen with all new games now (Res Evil 7, Horizon, Mass Effect)

If I get a Pro (which could be likely after Switch / related paraphernalia price reveal) it'll be sans 4K TV. And I'm more intrigued by HDR than 4K res itself...

Isn't HDR on all PS4s?

It's not - they are practically intrinsically linked, though you could be like some manufactures last year and this year and slap the HDR logo on absolutely everything despite the fact only high end televisions can actually do it properly.

Yeah, that was my point. 4K isn't of interest to me, HDR is. But not of enough interest that I am willing to stump up the money what with my current 1080p set being less than 3 years old.

Trust me 4k goes hand in hand with hdr. It really makes a difference, however many games don't support it only a handful implement it correctly.

Anyone else with a Pro that seem to have a slower UI than the base machine? I was thinking about switching between a game and Youtube and back again. The Pro keeps showing the intro screens whereas the regular Ps4 was quicker on the fly and just switched. Was under the impression the Pro had more memory for this usage

Did you do a HDD content transfer between PS4 and Pro? I read a forum post which suggested that may be the cause of some Pro's being slower than original PS4's. Their workaround to it was to do a fresh restart and download content via PSN/cloud instead.

I haven't experienced a slower UI but I didn't do a transfer I've redownloaded games and their saves from the PSN cloud.

Just transferred my game saves and settings via an external hdd. Was planning to put in my old 2tb drive and copy all my games over shortly

PS4 Pro people, I'm soon to be without a TV for the foreseeable future but will still have access to my Mac which brings me to, how is the remote play? Obviously not expecting 1:1 but how would you rate the quality/input lag? 720p remote play isn't working for me as in the quality is pants.

The bundle is getting priced at £400

strawberry float that. I was hoping we'd be seeing the start of the price coming down, especially now the PS4 slim hit £180 with two controllers (and two games) on Prime day.

I'm going to guess that will be around November 7th, can't think for the life of me why...

Sorry to be lazy guys, but has anyone seen any decent Pro deals about? On first glance it seems like the prices have held steady.
