Yeah, typical from Ubisoft.

I'm sure they will fixed it soon.

Anyone else getting a "unable to download" message when there's more than double the game's size available? I have around 33gb available but for the life of me I cannot get several games that are below 10gb each to begin d/l.

I know that you need double the game size to d/l and install but I have 3-4 times that and it still won't let me.

And yes, I'm connected to psn etc

Do any of you use your Pro on a regular 1080p HDTV? My TV is a 2013 55" LG Full HDTV so it doesn't have HDR from what I can see, wondering if Pro would make a difference to me

It will. Games with simple 4K modes get you incredible quality antialiasing through supersampling, while others get you performance enhancements. At 1080p, the frame pacing issues in FFXV are gone completely, and there is a Pro-exclusive 60fps mode coming later this month. The Last Guardian needs a Pro to not run like gooseberry fool.

HDR is on all PS4s, so that's no different

My Bravia Full HD Smart TV is about 6 years old now (only 40") and the games I've played so far that are Pro Enhanced (Titanfall 2, TLoU and Ratchet & Clank) all look great and there's definitely a noticeable difference in how they look. R&C looks absolutely stunning. I've got screenshots saved on my PS4 from them so will try and stick them up on here later.

Yes.

My two cents.

Worth every penny of it, I say. The anti-aliasing is almost gone, the picture is crisper and cleaner. Also, some games have options to choose the quality of the screen and you could read a few pages back.

Cheers guys, I'm thinking of picking this up after Christmas as I got RotTR and heard that it looks really good on a Pro. Argos seem to be doing it with a free copy of The Division which I was thinking of picking up again

Digital foundry have a regularly updated list of Pro patched titles and what enhancements they provide:

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Nice one, i'll save that as a bookmark, cheers!

Another reason I want one is for Horizon when that comes out, that looks amazing from the trailers.

Anyone else getting reasonably regular error messages of 'PS4 Pro can't read the disc, please check if it is dirty or damaged'. Getting it mainly on FFXV and COD infinity wars...game crashes and you then reload the game and it works fine. Very annoying!

^This. I sold my old PS4 last weekend. I really like my new PS4 Pro (and I don't have a 4K TV).

Cool, it's good to see positive impressions using a standard 1080p HDTV.

What's the best deals at the moment? The one I'm looking at is Argos £349.99 with a free copy of The Division

I'm getting really pissed off with this now. Patches or small (<5gb) games won't download even though I have 30+Gb available. If I delete any game then I can download but I don't get why this message appears.

Anyone else got a (nearly) full Pro HDD and if so, any similar experience?

I don't have the Pro, KingK, but on my (povvo) PS4 I had to delete stuff today for game updates, even though there looked to be enough space free (around 60 Gb). I suspect that the operating system requires a certain amount of space to be left over for operational functions.

Yeah but not 30/60 Gb to run an OS!
It shows as free space in system storage management so I should be able to use it. It's bad enough that 1Tb means 787Gb but when you can't use another 30Gb of that too....

Yep, I agree, KingK - with games often now requiring 40 to 70 Gb of space, storage is becoming an issue for folk who have had their consoles for a while and like to have their games readily available. Sony *has* to figure out a way of allowing plug-in drives to be used.

So although I have done a bit of moaning about the Pro... I have one on the way :fp: :toot: . I only have a small 1080p screen but I've been seduced by the talk of smoother frame-rates and slicker performance. Yeah, I know some of the game updates have been a bit pony so far but I'm guessing that developers will soon get a handle on things.

I'm hoping the machine arrives today and... "I'm excited!".

EDIT: I'm not planning to get rid of my original PS4; it'll probably remain my main machine and I'll just re-download games to the Pro if they get a significant Pro update.
