Demo isn't even showing up on my store

strawberry floating hell Sega First the God of War release date clash and now this:

So what is happening, can someone confirm they played more than the prologue part?

I've been looking into it. Sega US posted a full version unlock instead of the demo. So people who downloaded that today get access to everything, including trophies, mini-games and, well, everything, really. Us euros and americans who waited to download it are out of luck. Sony will probably revoke it soon but if you already have it you can go offline and play as much as you want. So congrats to those who got it!

I really don't think the release date being close to God of War is as big an issue as everyone made it out to be.

Apparently they uploaded the full game rather than the demo on the US Store, but its now been pulled!

I had a quick go on this in the morning and am loving it already! In a way I wish I replayed Yakuza 5 during Christmas - now that was an amazing game.

Don’t get why they delayed the game from its March date to April seeing that the game has already gone gold.

It's not a huge issue. Not for the people who have already played and enjoyed Yakuza, but if 6 wasn't releasing alongside GoW it would be more likely to pull in more of the casual, non-hardcore PS4 crowd. But now those people more likely to opt for GoW. (Partly because it's more well known and partly because of the superior marketing it'll be getting.) But Sega have done a good job of raising the Yakuza's profile with the sale prices of Kiwami and 0. So there's that.

They might want it out for the start of the new financial year rather than the end of the current one.

Scores coming in at low to mid 80's.

I heard it was the worst main entry, however i think all yakuza fans will love it. Currently enjoying yakuza kiwami and will get this on launch day.

Never played one of these before. Is it better to start with this one or 0 or kiwami?

Can anyone please explain the differences?

Well having just started 0 myself, I understand that this is set before any of the other games so is the "best" entrance for new players. That's what I'm hoping, anyway...

Kiwami is a remake of Yakuza 1 that came out on PS2. 0 is a prequel to that with a brand new story and is the best intro to the series for newcomers.

Looking at some of the reviews and I never realised there was just the one fighting style now.

I'm OK with this. The other 2 styles weren't awful but I always preferred to fight in Kaz's default style and hopefully this will make levelling up less tedious. (Actually, I'd be happy if they removed that element as well and found another way for the player to gain new moves.)

So it seems that Yakuza 6 and Kiwami 2 will be lacking many of the mini games found in the older versions of the game. They will have mini games, but previous mainstays like bowling and pool aren't in there. They can't just use what was in 5, 0, etc because it's a different engine. Though that doesn't explain why time wasn't taken to introduce them in 6. But I think it's safe to assume they'll show up in a Yakuza game in the new engine at some point. Just not with 6 and K2.

In all honesty thats fine by me. I just can’t believe yakuza 6 has virtua fighter 5 in it!

The Asian version is out now, up on the store and everything. Again, why was this delayed by a month here?
