This for me is the biggest appeal of VR. I'm really not arsed about games that are basically the same as what I've been playing since day one, but just with shinier graphics. I feel like graphically there's no longer going to be that generational leap that we've seen when moving through previous console generations, so the only other innovation can be in the way the games are
experienced. VR answers that call perfectly.
The massive downside for me is the risk of motion sickness. I get car sick and can't handle sitting the wrong way on a train, so I don't think VR motion sickness is something I'll ever get properly acclimatised to, sadly
I'm desperate to try it though, but I'm yet to find a store that has a demo unit set up in my area.
