Not expecting anything big like Bloodborne 2. More Yakuza/Fist of the North Star for Europe will be more than enough for me.

Some Onrush gameplay would be nice too.

Am I being daft... I don’t get why the conference is starting at 5am CET even though it’s a European conference?

"Interesting" indeed, i don't like the focus on always being in the action all the time and scoring points to win instead of coming first; i bounced off the tony hawk and ssx games because i don't care about points combos etc. I would like to see some gameplay to maybe alleviate my concerns.

Bloodborne 2?

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Unfortunately I don't think we're going to hear anything of that magnitude, Glowy:

PlayStation EU Blog, talking about the PlayStation Experience, wrote:...Though PlayStation’s biggest 2017 announcements were revealed at E3 and Paris Games Week, we’ve saved a few stocking stuffers for the show...

...although, with the recent announcement that Demon's Souls is being "turned off" for PS3, perhaps news of a PS4 re-make would be a well-received thing?

It's always been an American conference.

Ah! Okay, cheers Saint!

I was reading about it on the PS Blog and when I saw that it was being held in Anaheim (USA) I mis-read it as Arnhem (Netherlands) :fp:  ... .

Yakuza translation team, during a Twitch livestream, are reported to have said there'll be no Yakuza announcements at PSX  But also that 2018 will be a great year for Yakuza.

I’m guessing considering they announced two games last year that they’d probably announce something after 6 is released over here. Most likely Kiwami 2.

Aye, it's understandable given the fact one of the games announced last year isn't yet released. But you know... Yakuza chatter at PSX, it's like a tradition now. I'll miss it. Doubly so if it's a otherwise crap show.

Is there likely to be any TLOU2 stuff there?

I have a strong feeling that Last of Us 2 is going to be delayed and made into a PS5 launch game.
It would make a solid choice.

I honestly hope it doesn't happen but it just makes sense to me.
It's the most anticipated game that Sony has and would undeniably help shift consoles.

I want to play the multiplayer with the old Last of Us crew more than any other game on the horizon but if it's a late 2018 release and they have Days Gone as well in maybe the same time-frame I just fear the thought of making it a launch game may win out.

They'll do what they did with TLoU: make it PS4's swan song and release a PS5 remaster.

Yeah I can’t see them announcing it on PS4 and then suddenly dropping it for PS5. That would be a shitty move. Even Nintendo didn’t pull that gooseberry fool with Zelda.

The PS5 doesn’t need last of us to sell at launch. Where as the last of us 2 needs the large userbase of the PS4 to sell very well.

Edit: Also the original game only came out like five months before the PS4 came out.

If Last of Us 2 comes out spring 2019 then it could be a year and a half before PS5 launches.

As for expectations, not much major other than another Last of Us 2 trailer/gameplay, Ghost of Tsushima gameplay and a Bloodborne 2 unveil.

We'll see more Deathstanding at the Game Awards on Friday morning.
