It was quite scary until I needed to look up a guide to finish it. Nearly shat my pants at one point though.

Can you delete that please. :dread: or spoiler it :dread: :dread:

Watched the angry joe run through, he gave his controller away at one point.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

A shame, considering I bloody loved the game. Hope this kind of bullshit doesn't end up in the final game.

Come on this is a "Playable Teaser", not a game, the final puzzle is not something you're supposed to solve easily, especially since it's the reveal for a new Silent Hill game. Kojima said he expected people to take around 2 weeks to work out the final puzzle, largely through trial and error and luck, gamers are dedicated people however and it took less than 2 hours. Obviously any normal game is not going to feature puzzles like this. As teasers go, I think this was a brilliant idea, much better than a 20 second video anyway. Also actually experiencing the engine and type of scares they're going for successfully got me 100% excited about a new Silent Hill game, which after the last few is quite an achievement.

I think most people finished it by fluke though at first which I think is a shame. Somebody's figured out the "correct" way to finish it now and it would've been amazing if they'd been the first to finish it.

Yeah, what did everyone else actually do to finish the last stage? After a few failed attempts we finally managed to get it done by investigating the radio and then just leaving the controller alone :?

Pretty freaky, though. First time Lisa caught me I died IRL :dread: Horrifying stuff.

That's pretty much what you have to do according to the guide I read. As soon as it went into the abstract puzzles the tension went for me. Shat my pants when the lady appeared in the window though.

I cheated and just watched the trailer on You Tube, that was some seriously tension-sapping obscure bullshit at the end, there.

DaveDS, if you have to back and read my posts, you'll find that it's impossible for me to know when the baby is crying, which is the requirements for the final puzzle. I bloody cannot hear anything, and the subtitles does not cover sound effects.

And creepy new trailer.

that looks insane, i keep wondering with Del Toro's involvement if there will also be a new silent hill film in the future done by him with kojima involved.

strawberry floating hell, that is just

Thing is, I can watch that quite easily (albeit find it freaky as anything.)

Play it? No strawberry floating way. Like Beyonce, I'm a survivor. My mind simply won't let me do stupid gooseberry fool.

Mother of strawberry float. There is literally no way I'll be able to play through this game.

I thought Aliens Isolation was bad! I'd play this as a dare at most. :dread:
