Going by the pack shot on PSN, I think this is the boat stage from the beta, but I'm assuming it has additional stuff which was locked in the beta.

It really is a terrific game. When you think of the amount of gameplay - and the quality of it - that you get for £20 (steelbook edition), it's a bargain.

Yeah play it while you can.

Hopefully IOI will be able to make something of it on their own. I mean, it's not as though the series is unheard of. strawberry float SE! (Though this is their first misstep in a while.)

To be fair I think this is one of the least dickish moves I've seen from a publisher. They could have killed IO, kept the IP and sat on it. Instead they put them up for sale and allowed them to keep their biggest IP. They've given them a chance to take their game and move on with it rather than just gutting them.

Oh and this version is fantastic. Probably the best hitman I've played so it's well worth giving it a shot.

Konami and Activision set that bar pretty low, eh.

Did they fix the framerate in the final game? I remember it being all over the place in the beta.

I think I remember it juddering at times (I have the disc version for what it's worth), but it's a methodical stealth game so I never took issue with it.
