This is actually pretty damn good. It feels like quake as far as movement and aim goes. Weapon models are a bit off bit I've enjoyed the couple of games I've played. Rail gun looks weird too. Overall game sounds you'll already be familiar with from quake 3/live. I have frame rate unlocked and getting around 120fps with my GTX 970 on high settings. So if I knock those down to medium or low should be perfect 120+ Constant. First game deaths death match I was second from last then second game came third. Can't see why most of us here won't have fun playing this. Solid first impressions for me. It's better than the new unreal tournament, feels smoother and well quake is just better anyway.

I'll be gutter-trash at it, but have signed up for the beta - is it on steam or bethesda's own nonsense launcher?

I hope I get into the beta. It's great having proper Quake and Unreal Tournament games to play again, pure arena shooters with non-stop action.

I have a spare key going if anyone wants? beta week 4 this week includes 1V1 mode as well as 3 champions unlocked from start apparently. Other game types are DM and TDM atm.

Edit - Key still available

Well, my concerns were valid, straight to the bottom of the leaderboard every time. I'll probably keep it around as I have the space but I doubt i'll put much time into it.

I enjoyed what I played, but in the only game I played I had 0 likes and something like 13 deaths.

Is anyone playing this then? I'm enjoying it when I get on, although I'm awful at it! Getting kicked out of every lobby at the end of the game is a bit gooseberry fool...
