I'm looking to buy some suitable holders for my old mags, but the 'fat' issues of NGC (after it first redesigned, issue late-sixties onwards IIRC) are at my dad's. Could someone with access to a copy of one of these bigger issues give it a quick measure up with a ruler / tape measure and let me know just how wide they are?

EDIT: research suggests these were issues 68 through to 79.

N64 / NGC / Nintendo Gamer were all massive :-). They looked cool but once you started getting a collection going they could take up a ton of space.

I'm missing some issues but I have mostly up until NGamer. That only uses up about a cubic foot on a shelf in my living room. I swore I had more, but I think my memory just exaggerated the amount of awesome.

I had every issue of NGC Mag until a few years ago when I threw away the last few issues (four I think) that didn't come with proper spines, they were just stapled. The quality of the magazine had gone downhill pretty badly by that point, sadly, so I didn't think anything of it, but now I kind of regret it as it means my collection isn't properly complete.

The majority of the NGC Magazine era was unbelievably good though. I definitely want something decent to store those copies in. Thanks GG!
