Quickie Art Help?

As has been noted here before, my ability with art programmes varies from mostly inept, to piss poor, and i never did get around to downloading any different sofrware as MS Paint seems to be the only one i'm even remotely competent with.
Consequently, i have a small request which i hope you folks may be able to help me with.
See, for my YT thumbnails, i normally put a small union flag motif in the top corner so that overseas viewers get an instant clue as to the location of the travel vlog (it's a simple thing yet seems to work pretty well). The thing is though, for my upcoming Germany vlog series, i could do with the same thing but with the German flag instead.
I was wondering therefore if anyone here could give me a hand with this?
Here is the original union jack image, so if the flag can be changed (along with a transparent background), it would be most appreciated.
I'm not sure either if the red part (the page fold) should stay red, or whether another colour would be better to match the red/yellow/black of the German flag, so please, if you're able to do it, just go with whatever looks best.

Trouble is though, i still have my thumbnail work to do and i'm still no closer to getting the image i need.

Not thrilled about the aliasing on the fold but it’s the best I could do in 3 mins.
3 minutes well spent though. Any excuse to spend time erasing the Union flag, really.
