Wow comparing sexism to slavery. That’s a huge reach right there. You act as if men aren’t objectified in the same way towards women. It’s just nobody makes a fuss out of it. Women aren’t pure just like men aren’t. They probably wanted to take those pics half naked. They weren’t forced like “slaves”. And I as a young teen during those years enjoyed these ads and I see no problem with them now.

Seriously, there's a thread on ResetEra about how people pronounce... ResetEra. I didn't click on it.

To be fair, I always thought it was Reset-Era. Made the most sense (restart, end of an era). Then I heard on a podcast it was pronnouced like et cetera which I hated instantly :lol:

Regardless, it’s a terrible name.

I assumed that they would favour the et cetera pronunciation because that just fits their image better. The image of being a bunch of tools.

I presume there must have been a "how do you pronounce GRcade?" thread here at some point?

The vast majority of my waking time is now spent watching the entire catalogue of English speaking videos available online in order to verify that it is indeed pronounced one (rhymes with "scwun")

My mum just calls it "the arcade" which is close enough.
