Yeah I'm fine with this. We need to stop excusing shitty behavior based on what gender you are.
"Boys will be Boys" is a sentence used to excuse rape, theft, violence, harassment, public urination and everything shitty when it is a white male younger than 40 year old, so yeah, I am COMPLETELY ok with that
It's a shitty phrase that's been used to excuse the vilest garbage.
Nothing of value is lost.
Girls do too? 'Kids will be kids' is a better statement. These kids aren't slaves to their assigned gender after all. But yes, kids in general tend to be loud, and dirty.
It’s a phrase used to excuse abhorrent things that guys do, and I’m not really aware of a different truly valuable way it’s used to balance that out, so yeah, bye.

I just can't believe these people genuinely hold and express these opinions in their real everyday lives and that it isn't just an online persona to 'fit in'
There's just no way some of them could function day to day without someone eventually snapping and beating the gooseberry fool out of them. Or in America, just shooting them.

i might be biased but ive heard it to excuse annoying shitty behaviour - not PATRIARCHAL OPPRESSION but yeah i can see why people wouldnt like it.
when i was 10(?) one of my shitty friends (not excusing myself) decided to spray paint out of the window onto the external window/sill of another window in our house. when my dad called the kids mum to get her to tell him off she said "oh well boys will be boys". my dad was not pleased
