Looking at this resetera is the larger site but they are still way smaller than neogaf use to be. They're only have as large. It be interesting to see if they can grow.

The Off Topic Community (which was always moving at a breakneck pace), has a thread at the bottom of the first page that was last posted in on November 24th. That's strawberry floating crazy for GAF.

I like how they've migrated to xenforo 2. What a coincidence. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler has actually reached into his pockets to pay someone to do it.

Reminder: Karl voluntarily changed the entire underling Web server and caching system and migrated a massive database to a different format just to make this place run faster. And we don't even make any money.

This is definitely true for Off Topic Community. In all seriousness if GRcade hit the kind of low activity levels that Off Topic Community is currently seeing I would start to consider pulling the plug.

I don't want to wish the death of a community but from a business perspective, seeing as the admin is only motivated by gooseberry fool going wrong because of their own stupid actions anyway, he should sell it to some victim to try and make good of it (and probably fail), but maybe knows no other path, so I sympathise. It's hard to really when the other half of the community is doing well on their own site and that just reminds me of us. So, who's the victim here really.

Is the GAF games side doing better? Do you think there are people who haven't really noticed the whole GAF breakdown because their little group is unaffected?
