I said food not meal you muppet.

Most of the ingredients of a roast would work ok in snack form. A handful of roast meat would be lovely. A lot of pubs will put roast potatoes out as snacks on a Sunday afternoon. A small Yorkshire Pudding would be nice enough as a quick bite to eat.

+1 for roast beef as a snack.

Do it quite a lot with leftover beef*. Little pile of salt to dip it in. Heaven.

* Also available from Graze for £27 per pack.

Nope.

You should: they're for mugs and/or women.

Or for people that like the taste. I honestly couldn't care less what you think about them anyway.

Those ones and the other round things with the coconut on them are really nice.

Kinda taste like rum truffles.

I always like cold boiled potatoes with a little pinch of salt as a snack. My dad always cooks far too many with the Sunday roast leaving plenty to pick at the next day.

Those vegetable dumplings from Nudo Sushi are great as a light snack or as the first course in a larger lunch.

So when you posted about them in a snacks discussion thread, you were only hoping to hear from people who agreed they were great?

Nah just bored of patronising and snooty replies from the usual suspects.

It's my treat for when I go to a horrible, claustrophobic clinic location, as the shop nearby has them for 50p

A hard boiled egg rolled in salt is always a good snack.

Beef jerky's always good. Or crisps, although I tend to devour 5 or 6 bags in one sitting, so I try and avoid them if I can.

I love yoghurt covered peanuts or raisins & Proper Corn, the flavours are well lush and it seems healthy enough too.

Monster? It's awesome, sometimes is a sweet corn sometimes salty. Yummo!

I discovered crunch corn the other day, it is sort of part popped and coated in flavours like crisps that stuff is good. Expensive but good.

I will no longer accept such sloppy snack debate. [DISCUSSION]'d. Please back up your points with full references to the International Journal of Experimental Snackology from now on.
