I nearly got killed on my motorbike today by some idiot who just pulled out without looking. I had a feeling he was going to do it as well so luckily I had slowed down and just avoided it.

A lot of the problems are just that people don't pay attention when driving, cycling etc. I mean I witnessed someone doing their makeup as they drive along the other day, strawberry floating hell.

Since learning to ride a motorbike I've actually became a better car driver. You have to be so alert when riding a bike. You really appreciate other road users as well I think as you understand the dangers they face.

Frequently see dangerous cyclists taking the rules of their roads into their own hands, but probably no more so than the amount of people driving any other vehicle dangerously, they just stand out more. The cyclist in this case probably should have been in the cycle lane but the guy in the car is clearly a lunatic had plenty of room to pull around the cyclist and nothing excuses trying to force someone off the road by barging into them with your car.

Boris Johnson has told a London Black Cab driver to "strawberry float off and die... and not in that order!"

It was just after midnight and Mr Johnson was cycling home along St John’s Street in Islington, North London, after attending a dinner, when the cabbie saw him driving the same way and decided to heckle him.

The driver was apparently irate over the mayor’s perceived lack of support for black-cab drivers in their battle with controversial minicab booking firm Uber.
