I did think it was hard to believe some random woman would have the strength to effortlessly rip off a wing mirror. I doubt that I could do that and I can bench 120KG.

I've read the article and there doesn't seem to be any proof that it was fake.

I don't think wing mirrors are actually all that difficult to remove in may cases. I think it's one of those things that will come loose quite easily if you pull it in the right way. Sadly I knew a lot of twats in my youth who spent many a merry time doing just that for gooseberry fools and giggles.

Van wing mirrors are notoriously rubbish. And are definitely easy to rip off.
Transits in particular.

Source: I am a truck/van parts supplier. Sell thousands of transit/sprinter mirrors.

Also how do we know that the mirror wasn't already damaged making it even harder to rip off.

And don't forget the gent in the van polity enquired as to whether she was on her period. If she was then the hormonal rage probably gave her extra strength.

If it was indeed fake, what was the point of it? It didn't paint either side in good light. The van men were being inappropriate, the woman was being a vandal and the cameraman was being abusive.

I don't get it.

I don't get it.

It made every news site, and generated millions of views/comments, which is usually the goal for these viral content manufacturers.

Oh no I get that, but does it make them any money or anything like that?

From the article posted earlier, it sounds like some new firm were involved. They can probably now use this as an example of a viral hit they've had to demonstrate their success, and sell their viral marketing services to other people.

Theres a bunch of people that run "viral" youtube channels, their only goal being to make videos with the intention to have them go viral and drive views on their channel and collect the advertising revenue from it. The content of the video doesnt matter as long as it gets out there and grabs peoples attention theyre happy.
