Stop bumping this thread without posting videos of drivers being banana splits, please.

You can't call them drivers when they're on a bike.

I'm not referring to people on a bike.

I rarely have a problem with cyclists but there seems to be an increasing number of them that like to ride on the pavement and shout at pedestrians who are “in the way”. Get the strawberry float off the pavement you banana splits. :x

Oh and buy some strawberry floating lights for your bike as well.

oooo yeah this, I had to practice dive out the way of 4 or 5 yesterday on the walk home that insist on riding on the thin pavement with no lights rather than be a big boy and ride on the road.

Get on the road or get off the bike! banana splits.

Yeah it is, you can get a fine for it but I don't think it ever gets policed because the police dont give a gooseberry fool and there aren't enough of them to make an actual impact anyway so whats the point.

Really it should be common decency to not do it as you are going quicker than others using the paths and so are being a knob, but decency and consideration for others seem to be in massively short demand of late.

Looks like we all agree on the issue of bikes on the pavement and bikes with no lights.

Yay GRcade comes together in a beautiful expression of cyclist hatred. Moggy heals the divide once again.

When I cycled to work I would cycle 100% of the way along the pavement

It's a cycle path all the way

So not a pavement then.....

Although that reminds me of another thing that annoys me with cyclists. On my walk home there is a section where the cycle path and pavement meets to go through an underpass. The path under there is clearly split between the cycle side and the pedestrian side with a bloody great big white line down the middle.

Speedy lycra clad banana splits can’t handle that though if there is a slower cyclist in front of them. They find the better solution is to shout at the pedestrians and force their way through on that side. Wankers. :x

Not sure how you're defining it, but it's definitely on the pavement and not on the road. In some parts its split with a white line and markings, but elsewhere it's dual-use.

If anything pedestrians seem to cause more of a problem, as parents with pushchairs will walk side-by-side across both the pedestrian and cycle sections.

The police did actually stop me once when I was around 12 for cycling on the pavement. It was a sweltering Sunday afternoon and it couldn't have been more apparent that they didn't have anything pressing to be doing.

How strawberry floating dare parents walk around with their children. How very dare they!!

I guess I would still class it as a pavement if it is dual use, but it is obviously not the same as what I was talking about.

Disgusting behaviour tbh

Children should be seen, not crashed into

So it's one rule for some and another rule for others?

I cycled on the pavements all the time in Japan.. But they were always super wide. You get fined for illegally parking your bike though, imagine the outrage here
