strawberry floating hell! whether the guy should be on the cycle lane or not is irreverent when you nearly take him clean out with a Range Rover!

Is he also listening to his iphone while driving also

Why are all those cyclists not on the cycling pavement? It's clearly a tight road. I'm a cyclist and I know where I'd rather be.

Christ, what a loudmouth fat wee prick.

I do hate cycling on roads though, thought of getting hit by a car puts me right off. Have a drivers license but when on a bike I wouldn't know what space to occupy, line to take on junctions or any of the rest of it.

Both of them are dickheads but the car driver was a lunatic. Was there any reason why he stopped in the first place? I couldn't see that the cyclist had done anything.

Are you meant to cycle on the wrong side of the road if the cycle path is only on that side? Genuine question.

Probably heard the cyclist swear at him. Both of them were dicks I do agree, cyclist had a well whiny voice too. Still, driver was worse in every way.

The cyclist was a knob, yeah, but he was the wronged party in fairness to him. The dude in the Range Rover could have ended him driving like that.

The cycle path wasn't on the road so I don't think it matters which side it's on.

Indeed, regardless of anything the cyclist said the driver was in the wrong full stop. Despite a cycle path existing on the other side the cyclists are fully entitled to use the road as there appeared to be nothing wrong with their cycling.

Oh I didn't mean the cyclist was in the wrong, he has every right to cycle on the road. During the argument he was baiting the driver but the driver didn't appear to have any reason to stop in the first place. Both of them are arseholes but the driver needs to get his head examined, complete nutcase.

Being a cyclist myself the worst I have had is when you are on the road and have to move over to overtake parked cars to go round them and drivers still try and overtake you while you're trying to go round a parked car.

It's like they think we can just go through a solid object!

One guy would have probably killed me had I not stopped because the gap as he passed the parked car wasn't enough to fit a bike!

I dropped the C bomb a lot that day!

Driver was just having a bad day. A bad day in a torrent of bad days. Small, podgy, henpecked, hates life. Saw a bunch of ponces on bikes stopping him from getting to whatever hateful place he needed to be, WHEN THERE WAS A F****ING CYCLE LANE RIGHT W***ING THERE.

The driver very nearly seriously injured the cyclist. I'm not surprised the cyclist lost it!

I'll be showing that to some of my cyclist mates tomorrow to wind them up!

What a strawberry floating pussy that driver is. All strawberry floating talk, no strawberry floating balls. I'd have strawberry floating put his window in, see how strawberry floating hard he was then. banana split.

Comments on the Mail website are mostly siding with the driver!
