Anyone else up-to-date on this? The mum and daughter still seem to hate each other and I was finding the daughter really rude this week. They have come out and blamed it on being hungry.

Yeah, I can see those two properly exploding at one another at some point.

Convinced Alfie and Owen are likely to win this overall now, they seem to be operating on the same level as one another, and have struck a decent balance of race mode and taking the time to make sure they're both seeing/doing stuff they want on the way.

Bit disappointed by Betty's reaction when her brother wanted to go see some Muay Thai. She goes on and on about wanting to get him to try new experiences, and then rolls her eyes at something he's clearly passionate about, and can only see in that way in Thailand. At least she did go, but it certainly showed a bit more blinkers on her than I think we've seen before. There's obviously something that happens to these two next episode as well based on the quick preview, wonder what actually goes on?

Very impressed by Viv and Stephen confronting the dolphin watching expedition. If I'd suffered a stroke after getting hit on the head doing that before, you'd never get me on a boat again!

Looking forward to the next two legs, I'm pretty unfamiliar with Indonesia, so I'm looking forwards to seeing that, and how the teams deal with the inevitable island hopping towards the end. Beyond some collapses in personal relationships and finances, it should be a closely run thing I hope.

Betty swimming: :datass:
Betty losing the passports: :dread:

The boys absolutely smashed this leg, looking forward to seeing how the other teams react. I think Stephen and Viv are going to kick themselves for dawdling and still spending heavily when they get to checkpoint.

Impressed that Eugenie and Isabel managed to keep a lid on their bickering, but they still can't resist winding each other up, can they?

Betty
I can't believe she lost the passport and even more so I can't believe they got it back. Sometimes luck is on your side and it would have been a gooseberry fool way to go out.

Do we think the boys have a big lead as we didn't see the other teams come in? I'm thinking so and I'm expecting a minimum 24 hours.

I can feel the tension every time Eugenie and Isabel are on my TV. Did you pick up that she went to private school. That might explain her attitude but maybe I'm being judgemental.

Caught up with this week's episode last night. I'm seriously concerned Betty and James are going to crash out without any money left for this last leg. Otherwise they'll be losing so much time finding work they'll be dead last.

All to play for between Alfie and Owen, and Eugenie and Isabel. Both teams will have a fire under their arse after this leg. I suspect Stephen and Viv are probably too far behind (although we still don't know by how much) to catch either other team, but they only need to get lucky with a connection, or splash some of that cash they've saved to make up some ground.
