Started this yesterday, looks incredible :datass:

A bit heavy on the exposition at the moment but I get that is aimed at newcomers to the series.

How come there's no per level hidden objectives like on previous games? Little things like whack 10 plants etc.

Last night I've reached Pokitaru and it was a gorgeous map to play. Actually, all maps looks great and Pokitaru reminds me of Crash Bandicoot for some reason.

As seeing it's selling so well and I hope it will be the first step to bring some more platformer games! Especially, Crash Bandicoot!

There are hidden Trophies for doing stuff like that. Nowhere in the game tells you what they are, though.
Ratchet games sometimes told you, and sometimes didn't.

Ah cool, I've been messing around doing that kind of thing anyway and a couple have popped.

Can I go back to collect the hologram cards, golden bolts and etc after I finished the game or does it have to be at the new game plus?

You can. If you start new game plus then you will have to wait until you get back to each level again.

Saw the film today. Worth seeing if you like the series, but a bit lightweight as a film in isolation!

Nearing the end now and it's really not out stayed it's welcome. Very tempted to just drop straight back in to NG+. Only negative, the rails sections - I just really don't like how unresponsive the controls feel, getting stuck in an animation loop and the whole insta-death mechanic.

Last night, I managed to beat the time for the hover race and the first one took me a few attempts, but the second one was pretty straightforward to beat the time. Only a few golden bolts left to collect and hidden trophies before I started a new game+! :D

Yeah, it seems very simple to get Platinum for this one, but one or two things you need to be aware about though.

I only need one more hidden trophy to smash the street lights then I'm good to start the new game+. :toot:

Is this just a shiny remake of the original? I've been playing it on and off, I'm up to Rigar (sp, the hover board planet) and it seems very familiar. Unless that's just because it's a Ratchet and Clank game!

Some planets are missing, but a lot of the level layouts are nigh-identical.
Couldn't be arsed to finish NG+, I hate the Clank bits.

Urgh, thanks, wish I'd known that before I bought it. I played it extensively when it came out. Ach well, it'll teach me for buying something just because it looks sorta pretty!
