The rubber banding in those races is so annoying, it doesn't matter how fast you go, it only lets you overtake at certain points in the race. I got pipped at the post about 5 times on gold

I got the First Print edition... And because it's going to be worth a lot more in years to come.

Buying games as a financial investment seems real dumb.

I don't know man... that Star Fox Zero First Print edition can buy an awful lot of R&C games. A lot more in years to come.

I'll get R&C eventually... I'm in no hurry. Besides, aside from SFZero, I'm also playing Bloodborne as well as Gravity Rush on my PS4.

Uncharted 4 is in 2 weeks...

Edit: I also really loved Star Fox on SNES, and the SNES soundtrack was a very big deciding factor in wanting to buy the game.

I love all of the little tweaks they've made to the planets and the story. Gaspar was just awesome, the brain hunt was a real blast. Up to Batalia and I literally gasped upon landing, it just looks stunning.

Spoiler about the ending I'm curious to see what people think of:

Anyone else a little bummed that Nefarious literally boots Drek out into space and becomes the main villain just like that? I like Nefarious as a character but it felt really out of place.

I chose both :D

Although, I'll be downloading R&C when I get home, it was more expensive than on PSN in Game!

I've only had the chance to play this for an hour so far, but it's pretty lovely to look at!

After playing Q-Force and In the Nexus, I wasn't looking forward to it being in 30fps but it's working out OK for me, I think.

Finished this earlier today and have now moved on to Challenge Mode. Fantastic game, but the last two bosses made me want to throw my controller at the wall. :x

I think it's worth it. All of the effects really look amazing.

Well this makes me – and no doubt Sony – very happy indeed, as the rebooted/remixed PlayStation 4 début for Ratchet & Clank has stormed in at the top of the charts on the week of release. The record for week one sales for the franchise was held by 2009’s Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, but the new game has sold three times the amount.

Dark Souls III has dropped a place and Star Wars: Battlefront has a massive sales boost of 177% due to the release of The Force Awakes on blu-ray.

It’s a busy week for the rest of the charts as well, is Nintendo’s Star Fox Zero lands at number six, Alternative’s Rugby Challenge 3 grabs thirteenth spot, and Konami’s UEFA Euro 2016 Pro Evolution Soccer falls outside the top twenty.

LW TW Title Age Rating Publisher
1 RATCHET & CLANK PEGI 7+ SONY COMPUTER ENT.
1 2 DARK SOULS III PEGI 16+ BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT
12 3 STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT PEGI 16+ EA GAMES
2 4 TOM CLANCY’S THE DIVISION PEGI 18+ UBISOFT
3 5 EA SPORTS UFC 2 PEGI 16+ EA SPORTS
6 STAR FOX ZERO PEGI 7+ NINTENDO
8 7 CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III PEGI 18+ ACTIVISION
7 8 FIFA 16 PEGI 3+ EA SPORTS
4 9 QUANTUM BREAK PEGI 16+ MICROSOFT
5 10 DIRT RALLY PEGI 3+ CODEMASTERS

I guess it must have been a quiet week given Star Fox managed 6th but I'd imagine this doesn't include digital (I picked it up off the store) so it must have been a very good week for R&C.
