Could just nab it off the US store like I did.

Refreshing to play something like this again. Looks gorgeous too.

Looking forward to this, R&C was the one franchise I missed the most last gen having not had a PS3.

For anyone wondering, I've used those guys before (as have a few others on GR) and they're legit. Just make sure your OffGamers username (or was it account name...) and name on c/d card match. My names didn't and there was a slight delay in processing because of it, which only got resolved after I changed the name on the account.

Looking forward to this but trying to save money/complete a couple of other games first. Is the weapon you get with the preorder one that you can acquire later during the game, or is it Day One Edition only?

I hope it's the former - it's one of my favourite weapons and everyone should be 'allowed' to use it.

Did some research. Looks like you have to preorder if you want it, it's not in the game otherwise. Bit rubbish.

Apparently it rather unbalances the early part of the game, being highly powered and therefore something you'd expect to see later...

Damn this game looks lovely. And those context sensitive voice overs by Captain Quark are hilarious.

Edit: 'the Lombax showed a blatant disregard for public property by smashing all those crates'

This game is brilliant, the dialogue is still funny despite the fact I last played Ratchet and Clank when I was 13, and visually it is stunning. I was a bit cautious that the framerate would be an issue but even though it's running at 30fps it feels silky smooth and controls precisely.

I'm not onboard with those cards, though - needing a set to be allowed to buy a particular weapon in challenge mode seems needlessly...churlish. Like, there's just no justifiable reason why that should be a thing.
Bar that, I'm in love with the game. I think the original is actually in there as an unlockable, too.

I'm undecided on the cards. You don't really have to go out of your way to find them and until I've finished the game I've no idea how short I'll be on challenge mode.

Dat train level :datass:

If it wasn't for the fact that I just bought Starfox Zero, I'd have been all over this. Ah well... only two weeks until Uncharted 4 comes out.

So this is great. I actually find 30fps slightly jarring on a R&C game (where normally I couldn't care less) but still brilliant.

30fps might make those sodding hover board bits easier :x

You chose Starfox over this? For shame
