So long as Insomniac are involved then there's a good chance this wont turn out too badly at all.

Did Fixman write the scripts for the Future trilogy as well? Or just the more recent Q-Force/All4One games?

But will the kids like them?

R+C always struck me as pretty cinematic and I think it'll translate quite well. Whether they'll stick with the 4th wall antics of the trailer though or if it'll be a straight up film will be interesting to see. Won't be great but hopefully it won't be awful either.

I wonder if just one hit delays so they decided to delay both so they could come out together.

From that quote it's the impression I got.

The film is being shown at the film festival to line up a few more international distributors. The movie is coming out next year because that’s when Focus thinks it’s the most optimal time to release the film. 2015 is largely booked for movies at this point.

It seems everyone involved has high hopes for it but they say they are delaying the film because there are a lot of films out. It's Cannes week and more revealingly Ryan says they are looking for distributors to put the movie in theatres which means they haven't got anyone yet or maybe Sony Pictures is distributing in the USA only.
