Would seem logical!

But Sony can rely on your vote?

Always! In all honesty, if Microsoft's is better I will vote for them.

Microsoft 7/10

Some great bits, some boring bits and one or two terrible bits.

+ The games that they actually showed gameplay for looks fantastic, Halo, Gears, Tomb Raider etc
+ Backwards compatibility was a bomshell. That's a huge deal for a lot of people
+ New controller looked awesome as hell
- There were a ridiculous amount of CG trailers that tell you nothing about the game or even what strawberry floating genre it is!
- Also thoroughly disappointed in Rare's new IP. Didn't appeal to me at all.
-The voice of the woman doing the Minecraft demo :dread:

8/10

A good show highlighted by the huge backwards compatibility news and that stunning Hololens demo.

Microsoft - 7/10

+ Kept it to games and didn't spend too long on anything boring
+ Backwards compatibility was a great addition
+ Hololens impressed
- Halo/Gears/Forza/Fable/Tomb Raider failed to impress, both graphically and what was shown
- No big unexpected title/very predictable

Gears and Tomb Raider were extremely graphically impressive.

Guess you were expecting an exclusive game from Comcept studio and Armature or a new IP from Rare.

I thought the Tomb Raider piece looks good. It's Gears 4 that look a bit dodgy but then I need to see it again...

I would give this a 7 too, for Microsoft's efforts. The BC is a nice bonus.

I think MS put too much hype on themselves and their line-up has too much of a focus on the past. Gears, Halo and Forza are due for a major refresh or retirement. Did like their focus on digital and digital freebies.

EA 4/10 It's not even over yet but since they've leaked the Battlefront trailer I don't give a strawberry float. One of the worst video game conferences I've ever seen. Not even funny bad like Konami and some Nintendo ones of old, just downright awful.

- Horrible sport sections
- Mowbul shite
- CGI trailers up the strawberry floating wazoo.
+ Nobody died.

It gets 4 points for Unravel, Mirror's Edge, Battlefront and the bizarre Pelé segment that had me in stitches.

Ubisoft 7/10

Decent show but it lagged in the middle and there were WAY TOO strawberry floating MANY CGI trailers. And that "concert" was just awful

+ All the Tom Culancy games
+ That Dynasty Warriors-esque game
+ Trackmania
+ Aisha

- Assassinzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz crrggdd.
- Dance shite

Microsoft-8.

Started off really well but they didn't maintain that momentum. The backwards compatability announcement was a real shock as everyone seemed to have given up on the mere idea of it.

Ubisoft-7
Solidly put together show that didn't bog down too much with a solid set of games shown.

EA-

Genuinely awful conference. Most of the games looked decent but the pacing and running order was awful. Going from Unravel to PvZ was one of the worst transitions you'll ever see.

It doesn't get any better than what Sony just pulled off. Not in reality anyway.

Sony showed nothing exciting in what will probably turn out to be at least the next 8-12 months. MS showed mainly stuff due out in that time frame and left out other stuff after that.

It was a good showing for everyone bar EA.

Sony 8.5/10

As a show, it was probably 10/10, but among all the incredible announcements and surprises, there was nothing even remotely close to being released shown there, Batman aside, and that is incredibly disappointing. A lot was multiplatform as well. No interest in Destiny and The Cod Blops 3 section was also lame and looked like the same ol' gooseberry fool.

Guerilla IP looked great. Uncharted looked incredible. The big 3 long-awaited game announcements will go down in history. No one could ever have believed

Bethesda and Sony with plenty of exciting things in the pipeline. Microsoft had a solid showing but with no exclusives I have any interest in playing, it looks like my Xbox is going to continue to go unused (until Crackdown, whenever that might be).

Sony - 9.

Showings of The Last Guardian, FF7, Horizon, Star Wars: Battlefront and Uncharted were amazing for me. Surely only Xbox fanboys would say Microsoft topped this as a show. There's not a lot of big exclusives coming for the rest of the year but 2016 is looking great.

Microsoft - 7.

Solid show but no real surprises here. The backwards compatibility was good for the people that care about that. The rare games compilation was probably the highlight for me.

EA - 5
Ubisoft - 6
Bethesda - 7

I'm not sure how to rate Sony. Looking at what I wrote before E3 they didn't address my number one concern which was a lack of content for this winter. Unless I missed something then their exclusives for this year are timed DLC.

On the other hand some of the announcements were properly great. FF7 remake seemed like such a fanboy pipe dream that I assumed it'd never happen and only a loon would have thought we'd ever hear the word Shenmue mentioned at an E3 press conference. That Horizon game looks very cool even if it is Guerilla making it.

EDIT- Ignore that. All that fanboy service and still no new Ape Escape? 2
