I'm not satisfied until I get all the cups on a level, so all those little blue guys and enough lumes for a gold cup. Then and only then can I move onto the next level. First world I've done 100%, working though the next. Also aiming for sliver cups at least for the challenges, but honestly some that I'm trying to get gold on are stressing me out

Got the credits screen a few days ago but there is so much to do in this game, I'm still getting fresh content, or classic content in the case of Back to Origins. I haven't played that game for years so it sort of feels new anyway, despite having the same themes. It's a lot of fun. Pretty close to unlocking that final world at 400 teensies, only 40 or so to go.

I unlocked the last world. These levels are pretty annoying with the visual effects and everything. Still got the Origins content to do/unlock. And those invasion levels, which are pretty fun.

Loved the game but it's not as good as Origins. Saying that, there's some good stuff in this game.

It's far better than Origins to me. Couldn't finish that but love this.

Currently on 527/700 teensies and I'm aiming for 1000G.

There is a lot in this game that makes it better than Origins (plus it has most of the levels from that it in if slightly altered) but I have found that the new levels don't seem to work as well in 2 player as Origins did. There are lots of parts where it's much harder for two players to make progress which is frustrating, this becomes more obvious when playing through the old levels again. It's silly things like using standard ropes where as before the little dots with multiple arms would have one for each player to swing on.

On the 360 you get the issue of Murphy confusion as well where one player getting to far forward on these sections means the other payer can't progress. The Murphy section are my least favourite part of Legends, some times they work well (the challenges for example) and again it's probably easier in single player but him showing up on later levels makes you feel it's going to be a pain. I know he was brought in for the Wii-U version to make use of the touch screen but if they make more Rayman games in this style I hope he isn't it at all. I played through the demo version on the Wii-U (in single and multi-player) and wasn't a fan of him then, I want to be doing the platform parts rather than watch the AI do that for me while I tap on-screen buttons. Maybe that would be change if we played more of it on the Wii-U but the demo put me off that version.

The Murfy levels are problematic at times. I've had Globox just freak out or sometimes he get stuck on ledges.

When they work they are pretty fun. It's nice having a bit of variety.

Nice to know the engine is compatible with next-gen consoles. Not sure who is going to buy it for £50 when it'll be in the bargain bins by January.

Been addicted to this the past week on Vita. Just finished the 8-bit levels at the end. Merciful strawberry floating christ. They made them waaaaaay more difficult on Vita than on console. Especially the two levels that turn all pixelly, the effect is dialed way the strawberry float up on the Vita version for some reason. I've watched them on youtube on console and the effect isn't half as strong. By the end of the vita levels you can't even tell what's on screen. I've no idea why they did this. Anyway, I finally passed them and got all the lums, as well as in all the other Legends levels. Just got all the Back To Origin levels to do now and I'll be done with it. Some of the speedrun levels were a total banana split!

Terrific game overall. Far better than any 2D Mario game in the last decade, Nintendo could learn a lot from Ubisoft on this. The amount of inventiveness on show with regards to the level design is pretty incredible.

I prefer the Murphy (think that's his name) on the Wii U.

So glad more people are getting to play this gem of a game. It deserves a bigger audience. The fact that it also contains pretty much every level from Origins too is just the icing on the cake.

I know this is a hella-bump.

But I recently re-bought Rayman Legends on the Switch.

I completed it 100% years ago on Steam. It's still brilliant. It's still probably in my All Time Top Ten. It's still got that unique gamefeel and flow that is precise and satisfying but also has enough stretch and flex and momentum to accommodate mid-air attack flurries whilst still hurtling forward through levels ripe to bursting with crashable, pop-able, burstable things and flourishes.

And it still looks and sounds beautiful.

Oh, and nearly every level feels like a whole experience with a partway transition, or surprise or platforming middle-eight.

So great!

All that praise and you didn't mention the music levels :capnscotty:

Not sure I made the right call on Origins vs Legends there. Kinda interesting how time changes opinions.

Both are great games however.

I still make Rayman Origins to be the best 2d platformer of the last 10 years or so. Yes, ahead of Tropical Freeze.
