There is an excellent off license just down the road with me with absolutely hundreds of different beers and ciders.I pop in every now and then and get a few (not cheap) and I'm choosing for about 10 mins  On the top shelf they have the more expensive ones like Brewdog Tokyo. Not sure whether to treat myself or not as I don't know whether it's worth it.

I'm building my bottle collection around my living room, much to my gf's displeasure. Might take some snaps and do a little review of each one when I'm bored :simper:

I have the 2 tokyo beers, but haven't had them yet. I know a few people that have had it and say it is worth it.

I have a mini collection of Brew Dog special beers.

Tokyo*
Black Tokyo Horizon
Parradox Isle of Arran
Mix Tape 8
Shipwrecker Circus
Watt Dickie

God knows when I will drink them as they are expensive and special.

You a fan of Camden Brewery?

Quite like the ones I've had, especially as now I'm in London they are easy to get. They have a pop up next week at the Camden Market so I might go and see what they've got there.

Not had any of their beers, there isn't any one selling it in Hastings. I'm going up to Camden in January on a birthday beer pub trip so will have to hunt some out then.

I've never been that impressed with the Camden beers, they always seem quite fizzy and a bit too American in style. Haven't tried them for a while though. I didn't like Brewdog at first but now I'm a fan, so I'm open to change my opinion.

There's a Brewdog pub in Camden if you're visiting. It's just off the high street, down the side road between the Lloyd's Bank and the Burger King. Worth a visit if you're buying beer in Camden, it's got a small but good food menu, and obviously has excellent beer! They also do Tactical Nuclear Penguin. Might look at getting that instead of champagne for our wedding

Yeah I have been there a couple of times, its part of the reason for the trip. I recently bought into the Equity for Punks deal they were running and so have a discount in there now and you get a £10 voucher for in there.

I'm working on the new Purity bar opening in Birmingham next year. It's going to be swanky.

I'll be in Camden next Saturday so might pop into the brewdog one if the Camden Brewery is packed.

Got some nice Beers/Ales for christmas, can't remember all their names/brewers though but the nicest ones were Jennings Red Breast, Wychwood Bah Humbug and Manns Brown Ale.

Only got one bottle of Hobgoblin left now.

Is that the one flavoured with cinnamon? If so, I took one sip from a bottle last night and then poured the rest in the sink. Bloody horrible :?

Enjoyed a couple of pints of this tonight. Draught, of course. Excluding majorly hoppy ales (which are my favourite), this is one of the best.

Nice, if you find yourself there again grab a bottle of Black Eyed King Imp if there is any, it is pricey but gorgeous.

Damn £14 a bottle??, reminds me of having a Tokyo (which was 15% abv) at Brewdog Camden a year ago.

I may get the U-Boat and Cocoa Psycho next time. The BEK Imp is more of a special ocassion beer.

Yeah it is a special occasion one, but there is only this batch as far as I know. They found it in a bunch of unmarked barrels they had so they don't have much a clue of how they made it etc. Cocoa Psyco is very nice, its good if you chill it right down so the flavours can develop. Another one to try (again pricey) is Black Tokyo Horizon, it is a collaboration between BrewDog Mikkeller and Nogne O and has 3 distinct flavour bands as it warms it is incredibly clever and bloomin lovely.

West Berkshire Brewery beers are lovely - good old boy in particular. The only good thing to come out of reading!

If you see it on tap, go for it!

Also, Doom Bar because, well.. Doom Bar
