A random shot in the dark but Google is little help. Does anyone had a recipe for Irish veg roll? I google and google but can't find one anywhere. I know it contains - Beef, Carrot, Leek, Pepper and spices, but no 'recipes' seem to state the quantities. No butchers around here sell it, not even the Irish ones, so making it is my only option
It should be too hard to make, it's just meat, spices and veg.

Thanks. I'll give it a go. That one on the Belfast Forum seems to be the only one on the internet. I found some links to others but the website containing them is long since dead. I even resorted to scouring cached copies but no luck.

I imagine this is what the world would be like if they did shut down BBC Food.

That recipe seems to be an interesting regional way of serving leftovers from a Sunday roast. You could probably put anything you like in it.
I'm interested in trying it though. I assume you just cook the slices like a burger, yeah?

There's a vegetable roll recipe on a blog called Grubbed Up that you can search for.
