I have the 2tb installed in my PS4 (it's easy to do but a pain to redownload everything!).

How do I go about reformatting the old PS4 hard drive so I can use it in the Seagate enclosure? I put it all back together ok with the old PS4 HDD inside the casing, but it doesn't seem to be recognised on my laptop unless I go to "Devices/Printers", where I can see it (Properties in there says it's ok) but I seem to have no formatting options?

In Windows, go to Computer Management and then Disk Management. You might need to search for Administrative Tools if Computer Management doesn't show up. There should be an option to format and/or create a new simple volume from that drive.

Thanks Super.

I wanted to use it for external storage for my Xbone and so just plugged it into there and the Xbone reformatted it for me. I didn't think to do that earlier.

Hopefully your guide will help somebody else who wants to use their old PS4 hard drive for their PC.
