Pissed off with Llyods TSB taking a £1 overseas transaction fee everytime I order something from the states. Can anyone recommend a credit card or bank account which charges no fees for this, and has no monthly or hidden fees?

Do you have a Nationwide building society near you if so I recommend them.

Nationwide have no overseas charges, they give you a VISA which is accepted everywhere, their interest rates are good (under and over) and what they do charge for is quite reasonable (i.e. going over your overdraft) with no hidden fees in my experience.

Online banking and operation times are quite good.

Avoid Halifax, or Natwest since the government is being gay with them.
