I'm taking a little break at the moment. Need more Prismatic Cores (You need 45 to complete the story) but I'm hoping for a patch to fix the load times on Xbox One before I resume exploring to try and gather them.

I'm also utterly terrible at the Traversal dungeons, so I can usually only get half the cores they offer....

Same, went back to the start and got on with hunting out more prismatic cores. Got 16 so can progress the story further (unlocked Duncan the gorilla looking bot) but I think I'll continue hunting out the prismatic cores so I don't need to worry later down the line. Another hater of the stupidly long loading times, especially when you die and fast travel.

Just unlocked the flying bot frame and nabbed 31 prismatic cores so far and about 7 hours in to the game now. After jibbing the story off due to lack of cores and hunting them out it's become enjoyable again. I'll try and reach 35 cores before carrying on and need to explore more to find more as not many are showing on the map. Shame about the dodgy load times and fps that must drop 20 or below in dungeons.

UPDATE FOR RECORE | LOAD TIMES

Greetings Far Eden Adventurers,

Thank you very much for all the comments, likes, shares, and general feedback about your experience playing ReCore during the past week. We’ve enjoyed seeing your first impressions of ReCore and welcoming many more of you into the community. The more, the merrier!

With that said, we want you to know that we’ve been listening closely, and the number one thing you’ve mentioned you’d like to see improvements on is load times. We heard you, we appreciate your patience, and we have good news!

An update will be released this week for Xbox One and Xbox One S that will improve load times on those platforms. Keep in mind, some areas may continue to take more time than expected to load because they are larger zones, but we hope this update improves your overall experience traveling through Far Eden.

For future news on ReCore, make sure you’re following us on your favorite social media feed: [hover and click to go!] Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. We’ll see you there!

It really is, especially for the price of the game. If the load times are getting fixed then it's even more worthwhile.

If you like Zelda-type games, this'll be right up your street.

Its good but nothing to shout about Mr P. I'm working my way up the tower and just done level 2 but can't progress because my character isn't a high enough level. The last arena battle on level 2 was so infuriating it was unbelievable :dread:

Story is kinda non existent so far which is a shame. Oh and its already updated and loading times have been much much better.

2 cores short from getting to the final part of the E Tower :fp:

Nothing to spoiler... The etower is an absolute blast, stuff like this, its just so fun

One thing I do wish is that (frame related)
the flying frame was its own frame and I didn't have to keep switching cores with the main 3, it's an absolute pain getting so far into a dungeon and have the right name but wrong frame, so back to the crawler to swap them over

I'm about 3 levels too low to access level 3, I'm fine for Prismatic cores so just need to go grind a few dungeons. Level 2 of the Etower was a pain with the arena fight near the end, kept falling down those bastard corners :|

I was a level or 2 under what was recommended, but it still let me progress

Anyways, the credits are now rolling... That was a really enjoyable game from start to finish, have a few little gripes, but yeah really enjoyed it :)

Yeah downloaded the update this morning and gave it a try, loading times are really no different but it does seem to look a little better but that could just be me coming straight from Gears Judgement straight in to ReCore.

So I now have over 50 Prismatic Cores, more than enough to finish and I'm around weapon level 27 so I made my way back to the E Tower and couldn't find a way to skip the first 2 floors I'd already done. I'm sure after each floor it unlocked a Violet travel point?

And I've enjoyed some of the dungeons, especially the speed run ones that have no combat..

So did you ever get it Mr P? Watch that vid for an idea on what type of dungeons you come across, there's nothing really to spoil in it so it's safe to watch.

I did not, however now that it has a 30min demo ill download tonight... is the first 30mins indicative of the final game?

That Vid makes it look aces.

Yes and no I'd say, most of the dungeons you need to find while exploring and then you have different types of dungeons like speed running through them like the vid above or arena type dungeons were you have to not only find switches, a yellow key and beat the time limit but fight a bunch of enemies too.

Finished it earlier, think I had a day and 8 hours play time which would probably be right after spending an age hunting out Prismatic Cores ending up with more than required to finish the game. Enjoyed it in the end even though it is a bit of a pain actually having to hunt out cores to finish the game.

CeX are actually offering over £20 in trade in so I can either flog it on here for £20 delivered or trade it in at Game towards Titanfall 2..
