The circle/B button on the PS4/Xbox controller.

That's just reload. I mean I have to pull the Right Trigger on my controller twice per shot. Once to fire, once to chamber the next round before I can fire again. I was hoping there was an option to turn that off.

While I'm still not buying any new games, a friend of mine did go into some detail about the hunting aspect of RDR2 and as a fan of hunting in video games it very much struck a cord. I've put the game on my Christmas wish list should any of my family members be feeling generous. :slol:

I think it only did a chamber the second round then it fired straight away for me. I don’t know how but I think it has something to do with the kind of guns I used.

I used Volcanio pistols and repeater rifles, plus the semi automatic shotgun.

I think I’m either half way or two-third way into Chapter Three and it’s been interesting between two gangs.

I sense there’ll be a strawberry float up soon.

Having a horse die on you is absolutely gutting and seriously frustrating.

I got ambushed by a gatling gun on an open road, i died within seconds and when the game reloaded. I was given a horse I didn’t recognise, with shite stats.

Another horse i owned killed itself after i jumped from horse to train by running into it. :fp:

The end of Chapter Three was very good. :o

Into Chapter Four now and it’s getting really good now. :datass:

This is a very common cause of Horse Death. Jumping Horse to train whilst riding a horse you do not want to die appears to be not recommended.

Story finished 90.8% overall completion and still loving it I have to say.

So the credits have rolled after a lot of hours of gameplay. I think I’ve solidified on an 8/10. The world is superb and the graphics for an open world games are sublime. The soundtrack is near perfect and the writing is good by rockstar standards. It really gives new perspective on RDR1.

BUT the actual missions are are bland and unmemorable (bar a couple of stand out ones) and it got me thinking that it is a carbon copy of nearly all rockstar mission structures. Long journey point A to B with dialogue. Shoot out. Escape while being pursued. Repeat.

For a game that goes out of its way to highlight realism the sheer number of enemies you fight is ludicrous. And with the snap on auto aim and a certain gun (you all know the one) you can just sleep walk through every fight barely even needing dead eye.

So overall it’s a fun open world with a nice story and interesting characters but the actual “game” is lacking a little.

By no means a bad game but not the 10/10 best ever that some are applauding it as.

And that epilogue, It felt longer than some whole games
