Is that John Marston at 1.41?

EDIT: Apparently so. Also, no mention of a PC version.

Do you reckon those are in-game graphics?

That was a really well put together trailer. Going to do my best not to fall for their ploy to get people double dipping and wait for the PC version, but I'm looking forward to this.

Rockstar trailers are always in-game graphics.

I have a feeling I'll be adding this one to my collection.
Still got the first Redemption to finish off, but I'll be looking forward to this date.

I maybe the only person on here that wasn't that keen on the original. There was certainly fun to be had on my full play through, but I struggled to finish due to boredom.
Apart from looking pretty, there's not much in the trailer that excited me. I'll still probably fall for the hype and pick it up though......

It'll be interesting to see which period in his life we encounter him.

Also, no mention of a PC version.

I've a feeling R* aren't going to release it on PC, at least not this year.

I hate game trailers, you never see any proper gameplay footage, just a bunch of clips from cut scenes and this was no different.

RDR had trailers which actually put gameplay elements front and centre: https://www.youtube.com/user/RockstarGa ... deo+Series GTA V had one too (a near 5 minute gameplay trailer) which was released a few months before the game. So hopefully there's time yet for RDR2 to get something along those lines.

It is weird how game trailers usually just show the cut scenes. It would be like if movie trailers only showed behind the scenes clips and nothing of the actual movie.

I want to see how the game looks when being played, not a video of a load of cowboys chatting bullshit around a fire.

Nope, I bounced off it too. I don't even know what it was, it looked lovely for the time and seemed well enough made but I just couldn't get into it. Even the fabled Mexico crossing scene left me cold.

I finished it more through a feeling of obligation than enjoyment. I found the world quite dull whilst riding around. Objectively it couldn't be described as a bad game, but it wasn't for me. Perhaps the extra horse power of the current gen will make thew world feel more alive, here's hoping. Upon reflection though, perhaps it would be difficult to make such environs more "alive" as many of them are quite desolate.

Looks a bit "meh" to be honest, certainly doesn't looks as impressive as other recent open world games like Horizon, Witcher 3 or AC Origins.

Wasn't a huge fan or the original, but Rockstar finally won me over with the excellent GTA V so if it's anywhere near as good as that I'm in.
