Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

I will post first and to be honest I can't wait for it.

I loved the first one and completed it to 100% with everything.

I wonder if they will use CGI or in engine for the trailer.

I hope it's a proper trailer and not just a teaser. Gameplay would be a bonus, but I suspect it'll just be story based stuff they show.

Original was easily in the top three games of its generation. It'll be hard to avoid joining the new generation of consoles when this comes out!

I'd love a Scorpio bundle with it.

I started Red Dead Redemption but got distracted after the second mission. I intend to play it as a primer for RDR2.

A third party game is very unlikely to be included with a launch console.

I liked Red Dead a lot despite not really getting on with the majority of Rockstar's output. I'm glad the franchise is continuing.
Wasn't that fussed on the epilogue type thing they had at the end of the first one, but the build up to the stuff before it was well executed. It was a very brave thing to do in terms of story telling.

It was a far better game than GTAIV or LA Noire.

Pretty bland name. No initial PC release is disappointing too, no doubt to capitalise on idiot double dippers (like me) when it arrives a year later.

Looking forward to it though. I'd prefer a new story rather than a return to Marston but I suppose I can't afford to be too picky when western themed games are so rare.

Wonder if this will be as buggy as 1. My save file reached a point where every session ended with me falling through the floor.

I remember all the hilarious glitch videos and bugs from the original game, but I never encountered any luckily.

I loved the original so am very happy about this news. Might even make me think about getting a new console.

People keep citing the bland name (which it most definitely is), but I don't recall GTA ever getting the same sort of comments made against it. I guess people really wanted a continuation of the whole Red Dead R______ thing, huh?

I think it's mainly because Red Dead R_____ is a really strong title template, it rolls right off the tongue and sounds cool while still clearly linking the games together. I understand Redemption was a huge success and they're capitalising on that pedigree now but I think Rockstar have arguably reached a point where their logo on the box does more to sell the product than the title, I don't think people would have been confused. It's not a big deal or anything, I just think it could have been stronger.

GAME already sent out preorder emails. Must have been waiting for the announcement to happen.

But yeah, if you want the best deal its probably too early.
