Which town can I find that mask. Looks creepy as strawberry float?

I bought a couple of masks from the fence in Rhodes, but I can only seem to put on my bandana - any idea how you access them?

Wardrobe. You can access it near Arthur's bed or any saloon rented room.

Ah ok, cheers.

I also understand that there's a ledger in the camp where you can pay to upgrade stuff, but I haven't seen it anywhere. All I've found is the donation box (which I've been very generous with) and the cosmetic upgrades that Pearson can make, like rugs and gooseberry fool.

You need to do the missions for Herr Strauss to unlock it.

Cheers, I figured it would be something like that. I've only done a small handful of camp missions so far, just been off hunting and robbing trains (which is fun!). So easy to be sucked into the open-world and not see your camp for days on end. Living off the land with my trusty steed

I got this on Saturday and while I've not played it that much, I've enjoyed from what I have played so far. Think I still preferred RDR1 though but I'm hoping once it opens up it'll be something special, but until then I'm pretty content taking my time doing story missions and travelling around the land -- the random encounters are brilliant.

Went into a house, bear was in house, shat myself, then killed bear.

Bears may gooseberry fool in the woods, but today I shat in a cabin.

Upgraded my guns to shiny gold ones and killed an iguana with them. Also found a Captain's hat.

Wish my image sig would work

The Missions are ramping up in quality now, functionally they’re still nothing special but it at least has me doing more interesting stuff and the script, voice acting and music just elevate it all.

Also caught a Legendary fish!

I nearly took the release hype and bought this but in a way i am glad i have not seeing as i have not played much of my PS4 over the last 3-4 months. I like the setting got into westerns alot this year i will prob pick it up in the new year or may ask for it for xmas. It does look a stunning game visually yet the control issues some people have mentioned have put me off a little loses the realism of what they clearly set out for.

Any Fence should sell it. You unlock the Fence fairly early in Chapter 2.

I've still barely done any real missions, spent the last couple of days doing the challenges and hunting for Legendary animals. The trapper sells some really good snake skin clothing but it looks like they all need one or two items you can ONLY get in New Austin, and I have no idea when that area will be free to roam without the 'dead or alive' wanted level.

Spent a bit of time fishing for different challenges and stood there for a while, you really get to take in the views:

Legendary Bear pelt hat is a sight to behold. Full bear head on your head. Tip - if you lose or die and have a Legendary pelt, it automatically goes to the Trapper.

Also if you have a good pelt eg I had Perfect Elk on my horse, taking a stagecoach back near camp to give to Pearson means its still on back of horse.

Love just going deep into the wilderness and hunting for hours.

What a game.

i just keep exploring more parts of the map, found me a meteorite that left a nasty mess in a house, and drank mysterious liquid from a witches cauldron. didn't seem to do much apart from passing out and waking up 20 feet away. i'll eventually do missions again.

20 hours in and I'm on 29% complete I think. Been doing a lot of riding round, more so when I decided to go after the Bountiful achievement (get a $250 bounty in the 4 areas of the map and survive for 3 day) thanks to Dfox1987 taking turns with me to go wild in towns

Unable to finish one of the early missions with her strauss. I had already looted a farm outside of the mission earlier on in the game and now theirs nothing to loot from said place.

Rather not restart the game or have a lingering mission on the map. Anyone had anything similar happen?

So I apparently have a $180 bounty in one region and a "wanted dead or alive" in the neighbouring one. I have a yellow mission icon in the latter region which I presume is my main mission?

Trouble is, I have less than $100 (kept donating stuff to the camp) and now I'm getting chased down constantly by bounty hunters whenever I try to go near the yellow mission marker. Can't yet afford to pay off my $180 bounty, let alone the WDOA one (is that even possible to pay off?)

I need some money making tips pls. I'm crap at poker and any hunting I do results in poor quality pelt.

It's taking me ages to earn money.

I found an English guy last night called Margaret and had to help him round up a load of zoo animals, it was a pretty funny set of missions.

Did you get the gold bar someone mentioned a whole back?

The one in the burnt out town south of camp. Limpney or something, it's called.

If I'm thinking of the right one, that Wanted Dead or Alive bounty is part of the game's story. Before the game starts, the gang has messed up a robbery in the town of Blackwater, so you're extremely wanted in that state. You should be able to get to that mission marker without too much trouble though.

Hunting tips: You can check an animal pelt quality before you kill the animal. Target it and study it, and it should show you a 1-3 star rating down in the bottom right. You can use binoculars if the thing is too far away. So a perfect pelt needs a 3 star animal AND a clean kill. Hunting is not a great way to make money though.

Money making tips: Loot everyone and everything. When you unlock the fence you will be able to sell valuables like jewellery and that will be a big help. There are treasure maps out there that lead to gold bars. If you want, you can probably look up youtube videos for some easy gold bars. They sell for $500 a piece to the fence. Train robberies are a lot of fun. There's a particular spot to do that is sort of exploiting a little.

Buy a train ticket from Valentine to Riggs Station for just under $5, then get off the train at Riggs, quickly climb the water tower and jump onto the top of a carriage. May as well put your mask on at this point. You'll probably get a crime witnessed/reported message immediately but ignore it. Let the train leave the station, then make your way to the front, and when the train is on the very long, and very high bridge, hold him up and make him stop. There will be two armed guards on the train, so take them out as quickly as you can. They will come for you so you don't have to go looking for them. Now you have all the time in the world (because the lawmen can't get up to you) to make your way through the train, robbing from every passenger, and also looting from the mail cars. It would be a huge help at this point to have unlocked the fence as you're going to need to sell all the valuables to him, but also try and buy some dynamite before doing all this. There is usually a couple of safes in the mail cars. Equip dynamite, press R2/RT to set it on the safe, then ignite it and move back.

I make a run for it in the direction the train is facing when I'm done. Your horse won't be around, so you'll just have to run, and you need to avoid roads because the lawmen will be on horses and very, very fast. The best way I've found is to run to the end of the bridge, then turn left and just keep running, without going towards roads, until the 'investigating' bit is done. Before that, don't stop, even if you think you've lost them. You will have a bounty of around $50-$60 by this point, but between the cash looted and selling the valuables to the fence, I was making just under $200 per robbery, after paying off the bounty.
