Red Dwarf XI and XII Announced!

If they can attain the giddy heights of the shows best then this may be one of the best shows of the year but it's a tough ask.

Could Red Dwarf be in the same league as Game of Thrones?

Saw some episodes of Red Dwarf II today.

I always thought the red dwarf fan base broke down around loving series 1-2 or 3-6. Although the second group were always larger.

I love them all, because smeg.

2-6 for me.

1-6 and the first two episodes of 7, for me!

1-6 are all excellent, but it really hits it's stride 4-6. 7 is good, if occasionally average. 8 is just meh. Back To Earth is barely watchable. X was ok, but still nowhere near as good as the first 7 seasons.

XI looks decent from the teaser and the trailer so far.

I've also started a rewatch as it's been a good few years since I last saw them. Been going through them on netflix, but I've just remembered I have 1-6 on DVD with the commentaries and stuff... Hmmm.
