It's kind of weird how both call the other one dude, I'm still not entirely certain who the woman is

Thinks at a higher level.

Asks a girl if she is on birth control.

PROFIT.

Interesting Paddy's Day. Stayed behind with one other girl from my work in the pub so she wasn't finishing her wine alone - turns out she has a major thing for me and let me know in no uncertain terms ("I've got a problem: I'm in love with a married man" :dread:). Had to let her down gently but firmly, then spent the next two hours with a dead phone trying to get the dozy twat into a taxi when she wouldn't tell me her address.

I'm a mixture of flattered (she's fit), knackered (it's late), and mortified (I see her all the time). Don't know whether I should tell my boss tomorrow as this could be strawberry floating awkward...

What's your boss going to do, strawberry float her for you?! Don't tell your boss, mate, it'll become less awkward in time. And besides, it wasn't your heart that was broken into a million pieces tonight - it was hers.

Just ask yourself, what would Skarjo do?

On second thought, don't.

Yea I don't really see why you'd want to tell your boss to be honest.

I think you should post pics of her here and we can then advise better what you should do.

Then tell your co-worker about it.

Then spread rumors that it was your coworker and the boss that shagged.

This post is exempt from the No Context Thread.

Thanks for all the advice guys, some of it was very helpful! Buff in particular put things in perspective once I'd had a sleep and was merely hungover.

I was a little worried that it would be really strawberry floating weird, which is why I was going to let my boss know. I can work in multiple sites if it was a bit odd. I saw her today though and said hello briefly. She seemed happy enough, and if I know one thing about women it's that if they look happy on the outside then they're happy on the inside, so problem solved! :simper:

My wife burst out laughing, and thinks I should tell my boss immediately because he'll think it's strawberry floating hilarious. She thinks it must have been the booze talking and she doesn't actually love me, she just wanted a shag. I'll spare her blushes though as it's still not a great story to spread about her and it would be a bit of a dick move. All I've said about it thus far is that she was a bit worse for wear and I put her in a taxi. I left out the scissoring, attempted ear nibbling, and running straight out into traffic...

You told your wife? :dread:

No way that will get brought up and you regret saying it, no way.

My wife knows the whole lot, she genuinely laughed out loud, knocked me down a peg really!

I didn't tell my colleague the sordid details as it wasn't really appropriate (turns out they actually lived together for a little while). No way am I turning down surefire sex and not claiming the kudos! "Hey sweetheart, remember that time I forsook all others? Yeah? Just checking..."

I personally would have just let the whole thing slide and forgotten about it, unless it was a continuous thing despite the rebuff. I wouldn't really see the need to tell anybody about it.

Not telling your spouse about something like that as soon as possible implies you were weighing up your options if they ever do need to know as far as I see it. I'd certainly like to know I hadn't been kept in the dark if the shoe was on the other foot. Fair enough about other people at work etc.

It sounds more like you did strawberry float the other girl and this is your way of getting away with it if it goes tits up.

"Me? strawberry float her? No way, I told you she was crazy and slightly obsessed with me!"
