Do you ever go into the deep stuff like the problem of infinite regression and the various paradoxes of having an omnipotent and omniscient god? I would :P

Maybe you should talk to someone who is an actual theologian then. Just because a person is religious doesn't mean they know every minute detail about their religion.

What you're talking about is the equivalent of looking up some tough questions about memory handling and processing algorithms you got off the internet, finding some random person who likes video games and then feeling smug about yourself if they can't answer these specific questions you've prepared.

Well done.

It’s more like finding somebody who says they are a big fan of “Half-Life 4” and asking if they meant “Half-Life 2” because “Half-Life 4” doesn’t exist.

Nah, see I understand your point, you don't believe in it, but (from how you described it) you don't go around asking people these intricate questions about the nuances of theology unless something comes up, and I think that's perfectly fair.

The way Preezy wrote about it makes it sound he'd like to bring it up to show those poor misguided souls how smart he is because he's done extensive research on the subject.

I have a question for everyone, a couple of my friends have been going out for years, I think they're together 7 years or so but they always split the bill when they eat out and always pay for their own drinks. If hes going to the bar, she will give him money to get her a drink and vice versa. This has always struck me as odd but figured it wasn't something most people did. Today, however, I saw a guy from work getting lunch and he was going to eat with his fiancee. They walked in together holding hands, ordered and paid seperately, did some vomit inducing PDA while they waited for the food. Hers arrived, she picked it up and sat down and when his was ready he joined her, I found this to be incredibly odd. Surely ordering and paying as one is a better way of doing things?

Is it just me or is "going Dutch" a weird thing to do in a relationship? My and my wife have never split a bill for dinner or drinks at any point in our relationship, we each take turns to pay. Ill get one meal/round and she'll get the next, are we the oddity here?

That is very strange. I mean we'll take turns getting things just for fairness sake (like I get an evening's meal and drinks, she gets them next time) but I've never split round etc.

Sometimes we split, sometimes we dont. Sometimes I pay, sometimes she does. We get paid at different times so its normal that our bank balances dont align.

Previously went to a date to a lovely restaurant in town and I paid. She insist that next time its only fair that she pay's, absolutely no problems with that...

So the last date I was on, going out for dinner and drinks - Her: "ohh, I fancy Mexican"

... and we end up getting a Taco.

A strawberry floating taco!!
