I went with morganite 8-). Although only because she told me to beforehand. It's great though because everyone (people not familiar with jewellery) assumes it's a massive diamond or something much more expensive than what it actually is :slol:.

On the flip side I'm thinking of breaking up with my girlfriend as i can't take another flipping out over a couple of dishes not being perfectly clean or not being exciting enough in midweek evenings.

But then I'm fairly certain I've posted this about 5 times over the course of our 2 year relationship so let's see if i can deal with the heartbreak this time.

Bought a diamond ring, but a tasteful one. I put as much effort in to the proposal as I could though and it all went swimmingly. Didn't have a honeymoon really, we did a 2 week trip in the U.S. and got married over there so that kind of counts.

Sounds like the best decision in the long-run dude, although obviously is gonna be tough for you both right now. Nice one on going through with it.

It's total bullshit as well she's got more of a work ethic than me and is hyper intelligent but because of a family tradegy and growing up in a country minus a social security system her margin to be successful is so slim. We're all so lucky we're from a rich country with a welfare state.

That's really gooseberry fool mate, sorry it's come to this, but if it's not working then you've done the right thing.

Same, but only because she told me not too. :slol:

In the end what would have gone towards a little ring covered the majority of our honeymoon so I think it was for the best.

I got away with it because she didn’t know she was getting married until the day before the wedding.

One day we'll hear on the news about a big human trafficking bust and at the same time Moggy will mysteriously stop posting.
