Thanks as I don't normally wear any jewellery or even a watch it's taking a bit of time to get use to it.

Thanks everyone we're Belfast bound for a nice deserved break :)

That was a sheer bombshell night, just started dating this mad pretty Syrian lass. Tried to angle my way to going back to hers and she was like yeah but come round on a weekday before 5pm, was thinking erm....

She's got three kids!

Dilemma time with the same lass; I've met her a couple of times since, both just at my place, and she's already talking gooseberry fool about how I shouldn't leave the country and about how much she likes me. I am aware that some chunk of this will be down to how I am a comparatively solid person but she says she'd rather I never met the kids as she plans to send them back to her father after a few things clear (....)

Anyway, I've been 100% clear that at most I'll be around for another month or two and then I'm heading off again, on my own.

Problem is she's an outstanding lay. Is it morally ok to keep having her round to mine? I've been as upfront as possible but she's blatantly falling way too much for me.

Sorry if incoherent, rather high.

Keep plowing her then worry about the technicalities in a couple of months when you're out of the country.

I officially put a ring on it last week. Wedding venue's already booked like, but it's good to have the ring all sorted out.

So it's official, I'm moving out and hopefully by Christmas. Already enquired about a few flats near my place of work. The wife has agreed that we sort all the legal stuff once I'm set up. Everything seems a bit surreal. That said it will be for the best. It's just not working. Naturally the children will be upset, and that will be tough, but better that than them growing up in an environment where their parents hate each another.

Tried to make it work, but it's going nowhere fast.

Already started packing my life away. Surprisingly it mostly comprises of clothes, books, my 4k tv, the PC and gaming stuff.

Well, at least my sister and I will finally have something in common. We've both failed marriages. :slol:

I don't know anything about this, but isn't it better to stay in the home legally if you want equal access to the kids, at least until something is officially agreed. Seems to stick in the back of my mind.

Yes there is an element of truth to this depending on circumstance, however our split is one of agreement. As in it's agreed it is for the best and that the well being of our children take paramount. My wife has made it clear that my access to the children will not be denied and simply because they are the most important factor for her, and that I am a good father. I'm confident that our separation will be as amicable as it can be.

It’s gooseberry fool when a relationship breaks down but on the plus side it sounds like it’s reasonably amicable and you’ll still get to see your kids.

Hopefully eventually everyone will be happier and it’ll work out for the best.
